Ilang dagat sa bansa apektado ng red tide ayon sa BFAR

Nagbabala ang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) na iwasan munang kumuha ng shellfish sa apat na lugar sa bansa.

Batay sa pinakahuling shellfish bulletin ng ahensya, ito ay dahil positibo pa rin sa paralytic poison ang mga sumusunod na lugar:

– Coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol

– Cancabato Bay, Tacloban City sa Leyte

– Puerto Princesa Bay, Puerto Princesa City sa Palawan

– Irong-irong, San Pedro, at Silanga sa Western Samar

Pinayuhan ang publiko ng BFAR na hindi ligtas ang paghango, pagbenta, pagbili at pagkain ng lahat ng uri ng shellfish o alamang.

Sinabi naman ng BFAR na ligtas ang isda, pusit, at hipon basta’t sariwa at huhugasan nang mabuti at natanggalan ng hasang at bituka bago lutuin.
