Natimbog ng mga operatiba ng National Bureau of Investigation-Counter Terrorism Division (NBI-CTD) ang tatlong miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) sa serye ng mga operasyon sa Taguig, Maynila at Kawit City, Cavite na tumagal ng tatlong linggo.
Sa press briefing araw ng Martes, sinabi ni NBI Director Dante Gierran na ang mga naaresto ay may kaliwa’t kanang warrant of arrest dahil sa kidnapping at serious illegal detention mula 2001.
Nakilala ang tatlo na sina Ibnus Isa, Amerduin Parasan, at Abdel-Amin Bandahala.
Anim na buwang isinailalim sa surveillance ang tatlo na na-trace sa pamamagitan ng social media.
Katuwang ng NBI sa operasyon ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Manila Police District (MPD) at Southern Police District (SPD).
Umabot na sa 18 ang nahuling miyembro ng terrorist groups ng NBI simula noong Enero.
