Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 23 kilometro Timog-Kanluran ng Calatagan.
May lalim ang pagyanig na 182 kilometro at tectonic ang pinagmulan.
Hindi naman nagdulot ng pinsala sa ari-arian ang lindol at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
