Pork products sa Korean stores sa Cebu inaalis dahil sa ASF

Kasalukuyang tinatanggal ang mga pork products sa mga Korean stores at restaurants sa Cebu dahil sa pangamba sa African Swine Fever (ASF).

Ang South Korea ay isa sa mga bansang nakapagtala ng kaso ng sakit.

Dahil dito, nakipagpulong si Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia sa mga miyembro ng Cebu-Korean Association araw ng Huwebes para hingin ang tulong ng grupo sa information dissemination at monitoring ng Korean businesses sa lalawigan.

Iginiit ng gobernadora na walang ‘exempted’ sa pork ban.

Una nang nagpatupad ang Cebu ng total ban sa pagpasok ng mga baboy at pork products mula sa Luzon matapos ang kumpirmasyon ng ASF deaths sa ilang lalawigan.

Mayroon hanggang ngayong araw, October 11 ang Korean stores at restaurants sa pagtanggal ng mga pork products na galing South Korea.

“They have until tomorrow (October 11) to pull out the items. After that, we will begin with our monitoring, inspection, and confiscation if we will find that they still have them on their shelves,” ayon kay Provincial Veterinarian and ASF Task Force head, Dr. Mary Rose Vincoy.
