Singapore naungusan na ang US bilang world’s most competitive economy

Ang Singapore na ang world’s most competitive economy, ayon sa World Economic Forum (WEF) matapos maungusan ang Estados Unidos.

Naitala ng Singapore ang 84.8 out of 100 score sa WEF scale kung saan tinalo nito ang lahat ng bansa sa usapin ng infrastructure quality at economic openness.

Outstanding din ang Singapore sa usapin ng life expectancy at labour market at mataas din ang naging iskor sa worker protection.

Ang US naman na may iskor na 83.7 ay nalaglag sa ikalawang pwesto dahil sa lower domestic competition, nabawasang trade openness at hindi gaanong pagkakasundo ng business leaders.

Gayunman, nananatili pa rin umanog innovation powerhouse ang US at nangunguna sa business dynamism pillar, pangalawa sa innovation capability at una rin sa skilled employees.

Samantala, pasok din ang iba pang bansa sa East Asia at Pacific Region sa top 10 most competitive kabilang ang Hong Kong at Japan.

Ang iba pang bansang pasok sa top 10 ay European countries partikular ang The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, United Kingdom at Denmark.
