12 opisyal ng NHA inireklamo ng PACC sa Ombudsman
Nagreklamo sa Office of the Ombudsman ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) laban sa mga opisyal ng National Housing Authority (NHA) na sangkot sa anomalya sa housing project para sa mga biktima ng super typhoon “Yolanda” sa Eastern Samar.
Inirekomenda ng PACC na masampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo ang 12 opisyal ng NHA.
Ayon kay PACC Chair Dante Jimenez, nilabag umano ng mga opisyal ang Sec. 8, Rule VI ng Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees; Government Procurement Act; at ang Anti-Graft and Corruption Practices Act.
Nakasaad sa reklamo na may nakuhang sapat na ebidensya ang PACC Investigation Service na magpapatunay na pinaburan ng mga NHA official ang contactor na J.C. Tayag Builders, Inc. (JCTB) para sa siyam na housing projects sa ilalim ng Yolanda Permanent Housing Program.
Ayon kay Jimenez, nabigo ang JCTB na kumpletuhin ang konstruksyon ng 2,559 housing units sa apat na munisipalidad sa Eastern Samar.
Ang mga respondent ay pawang mga dating opisyal ng NHA-Eastern Visayas.
