Hotel na ginagamit bilang prostitution den ipinasara ng Makati City government

Ipinasara ng Makati City government ang isang hotel sa Makati Avenue matapos matuklasang ginagamit ito bilang prostitution den.

Ang closure order ay isinilbi ng Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) sa Maxx Hotel base sa utos ni Makati Mayor Abby Binay.

Ito ay dahil sa paglabag ng naturang hotel sa Republic Act 10364 o ang Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012.

Noong Lunes ng gabi ay sinalakay ng Makati City police ang Maxx Hotel matapos matuklasan na ginagamit ito bilang prostitution den.

Sa nasabing operasyon ay nailigtas ang 35 sex workers na karamihan ay Chinese women at naaresto ang 21 Chinese na lalaki.
