Dating MRT GM Vitangcol inabswelto sa kasong graft ng Sandiganbayan

Kinatigan ng Sandiganbayan 6th Division ang demurrer to evidence dating MRT3 General Manager Al Vitangcol kaugnay sa kasong paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Ayon sa Anti-Graft court, bigo ang prosekusyon na maidiin sa kaso ang dating General Manager ng MRT 3 dahil sa kakulangan sa ebidensya.
Ang kaso ay kaugnay sa maanomalyang $1.5 Million kontrata sa MRT3 at pangingikil ng $30 Million sa Czech Company na Inekon Group.
Hindi pa naman abswelto sa paglabag sa Government Procurement Reform Act si Vitangcol bunsod ng pag-award nito sa PH Trams at CB and T joint venture ng maintenance contract ng MRT 3 kung saan isa sa mga opisyal ng PH Trams ay uncle ng kanyang asawa.
