Publiko pinayuhan na gumamit ng e-vehicle, charging stations sagot ng DOE

Nais ng Department of Energy (DOE) na mag-alok ng mga libreng charging station para sa electronic vehicles.

Sa pagdinig sa Senado, sinabi ni DOE Director Patrick Aquino na layon nitong hikayatin ang mga motorista na gumamit na ng e-vehicles.

Tinalakay sa pagdinig ang ilang panukalang batas na target magbigay ng benepisyo sa mga gagamit ng e-vehicles.

Kabilang dito ang mga sumusunod na panukalang batas:

– Senate Bill No 174 o Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations Act

– Senate Bill No. 472 o the Green Vehicles Incentives Act

– Senate Bill No. 479 o the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles Incentives Act

– Senate Bill No. 538 o the Green Vehicles Incentives Act

– Senate Bill No. 638 o the Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Incentives Act

Maliban sa free charging, nais din ni Aquino itulak ang libreng parking, hindi pagiging kabilang sa number coding at anumang traffic management scheme at limang taong registration.
