Initial recount results ng PET pinalalantad ng kampo ni VP Robredo
Inihirit ng kampo ni Vice President Leni Robredo sa Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) na ilabas ang kopya ng summary at committee report sa ginawang revision, recount at re-appreciation ng mga balota sa tatlong lalawigan na kinukwestyon ni dating Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Sa inihaing misyon, kabilang sa ipinalalantad ang mga kopya mula sa Camarines Sur, Negros Occidental at Iloilo.
Inihain ang mosyon kasunod ng mga balitang nagpasya ang PET na ituloy ang recount sa nalalabing 22 lalawigan at limang highly urbanized cities na subject din ng protesta.
Ayon kay Atty. Romulo Macalintal, hindi pwedeng balewalain ng PET ang 2010 rules nito partikular ang rule 65 na nagsasabing maaring mabasura ang electoral protest kapag ang resulta sa initial recount ay hindi pumapabor sa nagprotesta.
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Macalintal na dapat mailabas na ng PET ang sumaary at committee report nito para sa unang tatlong pilot provinces.
