Bersamin itinangging bumoto na ang SC pabor sa electoral protest ni Marcos

inabulaanan ni Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin araw ng Huwebes ang ulat na bumoto na ang Korte Suprema na tumatayo bilang Presidential Electoral Tribunal pabor sa electoral protest ni Bongbong Marcos Jr. laban kay Vice President Leni Robredo.

Ito ay matapos ang ulat ng columnist ng isang pahayagan na panalo si Marcos sa kaso sa botong 8-6 ng mga miyembro ng PET.

Ang ulat ay lumabas matapos ipasa ni Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa ang report ukol sa resulta ng recount at revision sa Iloilo, Negros Oriental at Camarines Sur.

Pero ayon kay Bersamin, dapat matanong ang columnist ukol sa kanyang naging basehan.

Wala pa umanong naging ‘definite voting’ sa electoral protest.

“You ask the columnist what her or his basis. I cannot confirm or deny that because he must know more than I do. That’s the bad part about it. There is no definite voting yet or anything that happened in that particular case,” ani Bersamin.

Nag-aakusa si Marcos ng malawakang dayaan sa 2016 vice presidential elections.

Natalo si Marcos kay Robredo ng halos 260,000 boto.
