Shortlist para sa magiging bagong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema inilabas na ng JBC
Inilabas na ng Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) ang shortlist para hihiranging bagong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema.
Ang shortlist na isusumite kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para pagpilian ay mayroong labingtatlong pangalan.
Kasama sa shortlist ang mga sumusunod:

2. Amparo Cabotaje-Tang
3. Ramon Alcala Cruz,
4. Edgardo Delos Santos
5. Japar Dimaampao
6. Samuel Gaerlan
7. Ramon Garcia
8. Jhosep Lopez
9. Mario Villamor Lopez
10. Jose Midas Marquez
11. Maria Filomena Singh
12. Edwin Sorongon
13. Elihu Ybanez
Ang mapipili ng pangulo na bagong itatalagang mahistrado ang papalit kay Supreme Court Associate Justice Francis Jardeleza na nagretiro noong Sept. 27 matapos sumapit sa mandatory retirement age na 70.
