Ayon kay National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, hawak na ng tracker teams ang mga impormasyon ukol sa 19 na convicts.
Inasahan na anya na may maaaresto na anumang oras.
“Tracker teams from the NCRPO are now in possession of information regarding their whereabouts and are conducting operations to see to it that these convicts are placed behind bars at the NBP (New Bilibid Prison) at the soonest possible time,” ani Eleazar.
Tiniyak ng NCRPO chief na ginagawa ang lahat para mapabilis ang pag-aresto sa heinous crime convicts.
Ang 19 convicts ay nasa partial list na isinumite ng Department of Justice (DOJ) sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Ayon kay Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra, may ilang buwan pa ang 19 para pagsilbihan ang kanilang sentensya ngunit maaga silang napalaya dahil sa GCTA.
Samantala, ayon kay DOJ undersecretary Markk Perete, 37 pa surrenderees ang napalaya araw ng Martes.
Ito na ang ikaapat na batch ng mga convicts na sumuko matapos ang ultimatum ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Dahil dito, umabot na sa 124 ang muling napalaya.
Magugunitang umabot sa higit 2,100 ang sumuko sa kautusan ni Pangulong Duterte, mas mataas sa 1,914 na napalaya dahil sa GCTA.
