Tulay, gumuho sa Taiwan; 5 Pinoy sugatan

Sugatan ang limang mangingisdang Filipino makaraang mag-collapse ang isang tulay sa Taiwan, araw ng Martes.

Biglang gumuho ang tulay sa bahagi ng Nanfangao village sa Yilan county bandang 9:30 ng umaga.

Ayon sa Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), kabilang ang mga biktima sa aksidente na sina Julio Gimawa, Jasong Villaruel, Allan Alcansano, John Vicente Royo at June Flores.

Ayon sa kagawaran, lulan ang mga biktima ng isang bangka na nasa ilalim ng tulay nang mangyari ang aksidente.

Isinugod sina Gimawa, Villaruel at Alcansano sa Poai Hospital habang sina Royo at Flores naman ay dinala sa Rong Min Hospital.

Sinabi ng DOLE na personal na nag-abot ang mga opisyal ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office ng tulong sa mga overseas Filipino worker.
