2020 proposed national budget naipasa na ng Kamara sa Senado
Nai-akyat na sa Senado kaninang umaga ang 2020 General Appropriations bill.
Ayon kay Deputy Speaker Boyet Gonzales, pwede na itong maisama sa first reading para mai-refer sa Finance Committee.
Muling binigyang diin ni Gonzales na pork-free ang ipinasa ng Kamara na P4.1 Trillion na panukalang pambansang pondo sa susunod na taon.
Mahigpit anyang sinunod ng Kamara ang deklarasyon ng Korte Suprema na unconstitutional ang Priority Development Assistance Fund at ipinagbabawal ang post-enactment identification ng mga proyekto.
Sabi ng kongresista, pagkakataon na ngayon ng mga senador na silipin ang budget para mapatunayan nila mismo na walang anumang isiningit dito.
