Korea Pinoy International Film Festival matagumpay na naidaos sa Seoul
Naging matagumay ang idinaos na Korea Pinoy International Film Festival (KPIFF) sa Seoul, South Korea.
Sa huling araw ng festival nagkaroon ng “Red Carpet Night” na dinaluhan ng Korean at Filipino Actors, Producers, Directors, Filipino community at Koreans na pawang interesado sa kultura ng Pilipinas.
May Pinoy stores din sa pinagdausan ng event kung saan ipinakita ang “Sari-Sari Store” concept ng Pilipinas.
Naghanda naman ng Filipino food para sa salu-salo ang Pinoy Seoul Media Enterprise.
Nagtanghal sa pre-program ang iba’t ibang Pinoy Artists sa Korea kabilang ang Boys Selection, Pearl of the Orient, Cabalen All Stars at Seoul White Lies.
Kabilang din sa mga nag-perform sina Franklin Mancia, Chilly Gay Remonde, Froilan Tabing, Mary Joy Lor at Yesha Pastrana.
Ang closing ceremony ay sinimulan sa performance ng Tanghalang Banyuhay na nagpakita ng kwento tungkol sa “Migration” na sinundan ng talumpati ni Ambassador Noe Wong na sumentro sa ika-70 taon ng bilateral relationship ng Pilipinas at Korea.
Nagbigay din ng kaniyang talumpati si KPIFF 2019 Festival Director Nash Ang. Si Ang ay isang Filipino filmmakerna naka-base sa Korea.
Nakagawa na siya ng award winning documentaries at socially relevant fiction films.
Noong 2010 nagwagi ang pelikula ni Ang bilang Best Film sa1st South East Asian Documentary Awards.
Pagkatapos ng pagdiriwang ipinalabas ang pelikulang “The Luxury Bus” bilang closing film.
