Qatar nagbukas ng visa center sa Pilipinas

Binuksan na ang kauna-unahang Qatar Visa Center sa Pilipinas. (QVC)

Isinagawa ang launching ng visa center araw ng Miyerkules, Sept 25, kung saan pormal na binuksan ang pasilidad na matatagpuan sa loob ng Mall of Asia sa Pasay City.

May lawak na 1,500 square meters ang pasilidad at kayang makapag-proseso ng 350 na aplikante kada araw.

Ayon kay Major Abdullah Khalifa Al Mohannadi, direktor ng Visa Support Service ng Department of Ministry of Interior ng Qatar, magsisilbi ang bagong visa center bilang one-stop center.

Maari kasi itong magamit ng publiko sa enrollment ng biometric data, aplikasyon para sa visa at medical tests.

Dahil sa pagbubukas ng visa center sinabi ni Dr. Ibrahim Al Shaar, director ng Medical Commission Department ng Ministry of Public Health ng Qatar, makatitipid na ang mga aplikante ng oras at gastos sa kanilang mga aplikasyon.

Mas bibilis din ang proseso ng work at residence visa at inaasahang kayang matapos ng hanggang 48 oras lamang.

Ayon kay Qatar Ambassador to the Philippines Ali Ibrahim Al Malki, malaking bagay ang visa center sa dumaraming Pinoy na nagnanais makapagtrabaho sa Qatar.

Bahagi din ito ng layuning mas mapagbuti pa ang relasyon sa pagitan ng Qatar at Pilipinas.
