Gobyerno nalulugi ng P2B kada buwan dahil sa POGO
Aabot sa P2 bilyong ang nalulugi sa gobyerno kada buwan dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng buwis ng mahigit sa 100,000 nagtatrabaho sa 200 Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator o POGO service provider sa bansa.
Ayon kay Internal Revenue Deputy Comissioner Arnel Guballa, karamihan sa mga hindi nagbabayad ng buwis ay pawang mga dayuhang Chinese.
Ginawa ni Guballa ang pahayag matapos ipasara ang isa sa pinakamalaking POGO Service Provider na Great Empire Gaming and Amusement Corporation sa Quezon City na may operasyon din sa Subic at Paranaque.
Aalamin naman ni Guballa kung iligal ang mga Chinese na nagtatrabaho sa mga POGO service provider at upang masaklaw na sila ng Bureau of Immigration (BI).
