Halos P3M halaga ng pirated DVDs nakumpiska sa Legazpi City

Aabot sa halos P3 million na halaga ng pirated DVDs at iba pang storage devices ang nakumpiska ng Optical Media Board (OMB) at mga pulis sa Legazpi City, Albay.

Ayon kay Capt. Dexter Panganiban, tagapagsalita ng Albay police, sinalakay ng mga tauhan ng OMB at city police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), ang mga video store na nagtitinda ng pirated DVDs sa Barangays Bitano at Oro Site.

Nakumpiska ng raiding team ang 17 sako ng piniratang DVDs na aabot sa P2.38 million ang halaga at 650 na piraso ng storage devices na mayroong market value na P559,000.

Dinala na sa tanggapan ng OMB ang mga nakumpiska na pawang wawasakin ng mga otoridad.
