Insidente ng paglabag sa karapatang pantao lalong titindi sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng bagong AFP chief – Joma Sison
Nagbabala si Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria “Joma” Sison na lalong titindi ang mga kaso ng paglabag sa karapatang pantao sa bansa sa ilalim ng bagong liderato ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Ayon kay Sison, bagaman magiging maiksi lang ang panahon ni Lt. Gen. Noel Clement bilang AFP chief ay asahan na aniya ang paglala pa ng mga kaso ng paglabag sa human rights.
“In his very short stint, Clement cannot do much, except to accept and probably aggravate the violation of human rights under strategic plan to suppress by military force the resistance of the people and their revolutionary forces against the treasonous, tyrannical, corrupt and swindling Duterte regime,” ayon kay Sison.
Tinuligsa rin ni Sison ang aniya ay kasalukuyang sistema sa AFP kung saan ginagamit na gatasan o pinagkakakitaan ang pamemeke ng NPA surrenderees.
Maari din aniyang mas marami pang tao na hindi naman kunektado sa CPP at New People’s Army (NPA) ang mabibiktima ng red-tagging, harassments, pagbabanta, pagdukot, extortions, torture at extrajudicial killings.
Si Clement ay primal na naupo sa pwesto bilang AFP chief kapalit ni Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr.
