900 kilo ng bangus mula sa fish kill nasabat sa Dagupan City

Aabot sa 900 kilo ng bangus na apektado ng fish kill ang nasamsam ng mga awtoridad sa Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Martes ng madaling araw.

Sa panayam kay Dr. Ophelia Rivera, Dagupan City health officer, sinabi nito na namatay ang mga bangus dahil sa oxygen starvation.

Namumuti na ang hasang, bilasa, naninilaw ang mga mata at mabaho na ang mga nakumpiskang isda.

Arestado sina Evelyn Venancio at apat pang kasamahan dahil sa paglabag sa Fisheries Code of Dagupan City, Food Safety Act of 2013, Sanitation Code at Consumer Act of the Philippines.

Si Venancio ang sinasabing bumili ng mga bangus mula sa isang fish cage operator sa bayan ng Sual.

Pero iginiit ni Venancio na buhay pa ang mga isda nang hinango ang mga ito.

Sinunog at ibinaon na lamang ng mga awtoridad ang mga nasabat na isda.
