AFP: 2 pang PMA cadet isinugod sa ospital dahil sa hinihinalang ‘pagmamaltrato’

Sa gitna ng kontrobersiya sa pagpanaw ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadet Darwin Dormitorio dahil sa hazing, dalawa pang hinihinalang kaso ng pagmamaltrato ang ibinunyag ng militar.

Sa isang press briefing araw ng Lunes, sinabi ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Brig. Gen. Edgard Arevalo na dalawang PMA fourth class cadets ang binibigyang lunas ngayon sa military hospital.

Ang dalawa anyang kadete ay hinihinalang biktima ng pagmamaltrato.

Dinala sa ospital ang dalawang kadete matapos makaranas ng abdominal pains noong September 17 at 21.

“Two other fourth class cadets in the PMA are now confined at a military hospital, both incidents sadly are suspected to be maltreatment cases,” ani Arevalo.

Si Dormitorio ay nasawi madaling araw ng September 18 ilang oras makaraan ding ireklamo ang pananakit ng kanyang tiyan.

Samantala, nasa stable condition na umano ang dalawang kadete at itinalaga ang isang officer sa ward para bantayan ang i-monitor ang kanilang pangangailagan at ng kanilang mga magulang.
