Operasyon ng ilang app-based lending company ipinatigil ng SEC
Naglabas ang Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ng cease and desist order laban sa labing-isang illegal mobile lending application.
Sa inilabas na cease and desist order noong September 20, sakop nito ang mga sumusunod na mobile lending app:
– Cash Whale
– Cash 100
– Cashafin
– CashFlyer
– CashMaya
– Cashope
– Cashwarm
– Cashwow
– Creditpeso
– ET Easy Loan
– Peso2Go
Ayon sa SEC, nakatanggap kasi sila ng mga reklamo ukol sa mapang-abusong lending at collection practices ng mga ito.
Ipinag-utos ng SEC sa mga may-ari at operator ng mga online lending application na ihinto na ang ilegal na aktibidad.
Sinabi rin ng ahensiya na dapat nang burahin o tanggalin ng mga lending business ang kanilang mga promotional presentation online.
