Dengue cases sa CAR tumaas pa; 17 naitalang patay

Tumaas ang bilang ng tinatamaan ng dengue sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Ayon sa Department of Health-CAR may naitala silang 17 kataong nasawi sa dengue mula noong buwan ng Enero hanggang Setyembre.

Mataas ito ng 16 % kumpara sa kaparehong panahon noong 2018.

Pinaka-maraming kaso sa probinsya ng Kalinga na umaabot sa 992; 913 sa Benguet; 951 sa Apayao; 841 sa Abra; 568 sa Baguio City; at 614 sa Mountain Province.

Sa 17 na nasawi, 6 ay mula sa Benguet, 5 mula sa Baguio City, 3 mula sa non-CAR areas, 2 mula sa Mountain Province at 1 mula sa Kalinga.

Ayon sa DOH-CAR marami sa tinamaan ng dengue ay mula sa edad na 20 pababa.
