Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng pagyanig ay sa layong 106 kilometro Timog-Silangan ng Governor Generoso.
May lalim ang pagyanig na 15 kilometro at tectonic ang pinagmulan.
Wala namang naitalang pinsala dulot ng lindol at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
