Pagpapatigil sa manhunt sa mga convict na napalaya sa GCTA law suportado ng Senado
Suportado ni Senate President Tito Sotto III ang desisyon ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na suspindihin muna ang pagpapatupad ng warrantless arrest sa mga convict na nakalaya dahil sa GCTA law.
Ayon kay Sotto, kailangang matiyak munang tama ang listahan mula sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
Ito ay matapos matuklasan ng DOJ na may mali sa listahan.
Ani Sotto, dahil mas marami pa ang bilang ng mga sumuko kumpara sa nasa listahan ng BuCor ay malinaw na may pagkakamali talaga sa datos.
Maari aniyang may mga napalaya nang dahil sa GCTA law na hindi isinama o hindi napasama sa listahan.
