Hindi nakaligtas sa outbreak ang mga alagang baboy ni dating presidential spokesman Harry Roque.

Ayon kay Roque, namatay ang mahigit 20 alagang baboy nito matapos na dapuan ang mga ito ng African Swine Fever sa kanyang piggery sa Tanay, Rizal.

Hindi pagsunod ng kanyang mga tagapag-alaga ng baboy sa payo ng Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) ang tinitignan niyang dahilan kung bakit umabot sa kanilang lugar ang nasabing sakit.

Matatandaang nauna nang nagkumpirma ng ASF outbreak ang Department of Agriculture sa mga bayan ng Rodriguez, Rizal, Barangay Cupang sa Antipolo at Guguinto sa lalawigan ng Bulacan.
