Showbiz nagdadalamhati sa pagkamatay nina Direk Mel Chonglo at Isah Red
Namatay na sa edad na 73 ang premyadong director sa pelikulang Pinoy na si Mel Chionglo.
Sa kanyang Facebook post, sinabi ni Cultural Center of the Philippines artistic director Chris Millado ang pagkamatay ng batiking movie director.
Ipinanganak sa Lucena City noong 1946, nagsimula sa showbiz si Chionglo noong dekada 70 bilang isang production designer.
Kabilang naman sa mga malalaking pelikula sa ilalim ng kanyang direksyon ang Sibak: Midnight Dancer, Twilight Dancers, at Burlesk King.
Samantala, kaninang umaga ay namatay na rin ang beteranong entertainement writer na si Isah Red.
Siya ay dating entertainment editor ng Manila Standard na at founder ng SPEED (Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors).
