2 barkong pandigma ng Japan darating ngayong Sabado para sa 3 araw na goodwill visit

Darating ang dalawang barko ng Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) ngayong araw sa Maynila para sa tatlong araw na goodwill visit sa bansa.

Ang JS Bungo (MST-464) at JS Takashima (MSC-603) ay dadaong sa Pier 15 ng Manila South Harbor bandang alas-10:00 ng umaga.

Agad na susundan ito ng welcome ceremony at press conference.

Ayon kay Philippine Navy (PN) public affairs office chief, Lt. Commander Maria Christina Roxas, ang goodwill visit ng Japan warships ay mula ngayong araw hanggang sa September 23.

Ang JS Bungo ay isang  “mine-countermeasures ship” ng “Uraga” class habang ang JS Takashima ay isang “Hirashima”-class minesweeper.
