Paglaban sa communist insurgency prayoridad ng bagong chief of staff ng AFP

Ang paglaban sa communist insurgency ang tututukan ng bagong talagang chief of staff ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na si Lt. Gen. Noel Clement.

Ayon kay Clement, ang paglaban sa komunistang grupo ay hindi lang naman solong trabaho ng militar kundi ng buong bansa.

Malaking tulong partikular ayon kay Clement ang lokal na pamahalaan.

Aminado rin ang opisyal na kailangan pang magpatuloy ang modernization ng AFP para mapaigting pa ang kaakayahan ng sandatahang lakas.

Si Clement ay miyembro ng PMA Sandiwa Class of 1985.

Siya ang papalit kay outgoing AFP Chief of Staff Benjamin Madrigal Jr.
