Catholic organization, US gov’t nagbigay ng 104 temporary shelters sa Marawi residents
Inanunsyo ng United States government araw ng Lunes na nakapagbigay pa sila ng karagdagang 104 temporary shelters sa mga residenteng nabiktima ng Marawi Siege.
Ang transitional houses ay nabuo sa pagtutulungan ng US Agency for International Development (USAID) at Catholic Relief Services.
Bahagi ang mga bahay ng P3.4 bilyong tulong ng pamahalaan ng US sa apektadong Marawi residents.
Bukod sa mga bahay, nai-turnover din ang isang climate-resilient public market na nagkakahalaga ng P4 milyon.
Magbibigay din ng training, equipment at iba pang pangangailangan ang USAID sa mga negosyante sa Most Affected Area sa Marawi upang tulungang muling ibangon ang kanilang mga negosyo.
Ang United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) naman ay nagbigay ng solar lanterns sa mga nabigyan ng transitional shelters.
Dumalo sa turnover ceremony ang local officials, Task Force Bangon Marawi, partner agencies and organizations.
