Chinese Communist Party officials nag-courtesy call kay Pangulong Duterte

Nakipagpulong kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Palasyo ng Malacañang ang mga opisyal ng Communist Party of China (CPC) sa pangunguna ni Chongqing party chief Chen Min’er.

Ayon sa news release ng Malacañang, nagkaroon ng tête-à-tête o private conversation ang pangulo at ang CPC officials sa Music Room ng Palasyo.

Kasama ni Chen sa courtesy call si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua, Vice Minister of the International Department-CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) Guo Yezhou, Executive Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government at Secretary General of CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee Wang Fu.

Present din sa courtesy call ang ilang Filipino officials kabilang sina PDP-Laban president Sen. Aquilino Pimentel, Senators Bong Go at Francis Tolentino, ilang mga kalihim at iba pang PDP-Laban officials.

Si Chen ay sinasabing isang ‘rising political star’ sa China at umano’y protégé ni Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Wala pang inilalabas na pahayag ang Malacañang ukol sa napag-usapan ng pangulo at CPC officials.
