Bilang ng mga sumukong convict sa karumal-dumal na krimen, umabot na sa higit 400 – PNP
Nadagdagan ang bilang ng mga sumukong convict na sangkot sa karumal-dumal na krimen, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Maagang napalaya ang mga convict na sangkot sa karumal-dumal na krimen sa bisa ng Republic Act 10592 o Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA).
Sa pinakahuling tala ng PNP, araw ng Linggo (September 15), umabot na sa kabuuang 431 na convict ang sumuko sa iba’t ibang police unit sa bansa.
Kabilang sa mga sumukong convict ang mga sumusunod:
– 138 convicts sa kasong murder
– 130 sa kasong rape
– 42 sa robbery with homicide
– 28 sa homicide
– 18 sa kasong may kaugnayan sa droga
– tig-14 sa rape with homicide at murder and frustrated murder
– 9 sa robbery with rape
– 8 sa parricide
– 6 sa frustrated homicide
– 3 sa illegal possession of firearms
Samantala, tig-dalawang convict naman ang sumuko na may kinalaman sa kasong murder and robberym attempted rape and homicide, robbery, kidnapping, at theft.
Habang tig-isa naman sa kasong carnapping, carnapping with homicide, rape with murder, rape and arson, abduction with rape, kidnapping with murder, gunban, attempted rape, acts of lasciviousness, paglabag sa Republic Act 9262 at Republic Act 9287.
Samantala, umabot na sa 1,914 na convict ang nai-turnover ng PNP sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
