Hindi bababa sa 60 rebelde sumuko sa Sorsogon
Sumuko ang hindi bababa sa 60 miyembro ng ilang rebeldeng grupo sa Castilla, Sorsogon province.
Ayon kay Maj. Gen. Fernando Trinidad, commander ng 9th Infantry Division, nasa kabuuang 65 na rebelde ang sumuko sa mga otoridad.
Kabilang dito ang 38 miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA), 25 miyembro ng Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad at dalawa mula sa Milisyang Bayan.
Nakuha sa mga rebelde ang tig-anim na M16 rifles at VHF radio; tig-dalawang caliber 45 pistol, improvised explosive devices, Molotov bomb at carbines; ilang magazine at bala.
Pagkakalooban naman ang mga rebelde ng pangkabuhayan at pabahay na tulong kapalit ng mga isinukong armas.
