Kinilala ni Police Maj. Jude Bryan Maguddayao, acting police chief sa Masinloc ang mga naarestong dayuhan na sina Shao Shao Chen, Shinu Chen, Xie Yu Hong, Xiu Xiansheng, Zhao Yihung, Gong Yaan, at Jiang Xin.
Dinakip ang mga dayuhan sa loob ng isang warrior dredging vessel at isang sand carrier vessel na naka-angkla sa pier.
