Malakanyang kumpiyansang magagampanan ni Honasan ang tungkulin sa DICT
Welcome sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang pagkakalusot sa makapangyarihang Commission on Appointments (CA) ni Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Gringo Honasan.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, kumpiyansa ang palasyo na magagampanan ng maayos ni Honasan ang kanyang bagong tungkulin.
Sinabi pa ni Panelo na maayos na maipatutupad ni Honasan ang marching order ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ayusin ang connectivity ng internet at cellular phone services sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng paglalatag ng
national fiber optic cable network.
Sinabi pa ni Panelo na kumpiyansa rin ang palasyo na magiging operational na sa lalong madaling panahon ang bagong Telecommunications player.
“The Palace is confident that Secretary Honasan would be able to implement the President’s marching order of providing the Filipino people better connectivity through the full rollout of the national fiber optic cable network and operationalization of the country’s new major telecommunications player,” ayon kay Panelo.
Itinalaga ng pangulo si Honasan bilang kalihim ng DICT matapos ang kanyang termino bilang senador noong July 2019.
