3 toneladang pork products mula Germany nasabat sa Bacolod City

Nasabat sa pantalan sa Bacolod City, Negros Occidental ang tatlong toneladang pork products na nagkakahalaga ng tinatayang P500,000 mula sa Germany.

Ang imported pork products ay nakalagay sa van na naharang ng Provincial African Swine Fever Task Force.

Walang kaukulang dokumento ang produkto gaya ng meat inspection certificate at maski ang driver ng van ay walang shipping permit.

Samantala, Personal na ininspeksyon ni Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson ang nakumpiskang kontrabando sa BREDCO Port.

Dahil dito ay inilabas ni Gov. Lacson ang Resolution No. 19-04 na nagrekomenda ng pansamanatalang ban sa karne ng baboy at pork products galing sa Luzon.

Layon ng resolusyon na hindi makapasok sa probinsya ang mga produkto sa loob ng 90 araw sa gitna ng banta ng African Swine Fever (ASF).

Pinirmahan din ni Lacson ang Resolution 19-03 na naghikayat sa mga establisyimento sa lalawigan na iwasang magtapon ng food waste at leftover na ginagamit na pagkain ng baboy.
