DBM naglabas ng P82M pondo para sa preventive measures sa African Swine Fever
Ibinigay na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Animal Industry (DA-BAI) ang P82.5 milyon pondo para magamit sa African Swine Fever (ASF) preventive measures.
Ayon sa DBM, sa naturang pondo, P31.8 million ang gagamitin para sa Maintenance ng Security for Detection of Meat and Meat products sa mga International Airports.
P27.7 million naman ang gagamitin para sa testing ng samples ng meat at meat products habang ang P17.6 million ay gagamitin para sa surveillance and monitoring.
Aabot naman sa P5.4 million ang ilalaan para sa Awareness Campaign and Capacity Building.
Una rito kinumpirma ng DA na positibo sa ASF ang mga baboy sa Rizal at Bulacan.
