Ballot recount at revision sa electoral protest ni Marcos vs. Robredo tapos na

Natapos na ang ballot recount at revision sa tatlong pilot provinces sa electoral protest na isinampa ni Bongbong Marcos laban kay Vice President Leni Robredo.

Kinumpirma ito ng Korte Suprema na tumatayong Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) matapos magpasa si Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa ng report ukol sa resulta ng recount at revision sa Iloilo, Negros Oriental at Camarines Sur.

Isinailalim sa recount ang 5,415 precincts mula sa nasabing mga lalawigan na sinasabi ni Marcos na nagkaroon umano ng dayaan.

Ayon kay Supreme Court Spokesman Atty. Brian Keith Hosaka, wala pa namang aksyon ang PET hinggil sa report ni Caguioa.

“The Presidential Electoral Tribunal has concluded and finished the recount and revision of ballots in the three test provinces of Iloilo, Negros Occidental, and Camarines Sur involving 5,415 election precincts,” ayon sa PET.

“However, the tribunal has not taken any action yet on the said report of Justice Caguioa,” dagdag ng PET.

Nagwaging bise presidente si Robredo noong 2016 elections ng may 263,473 votes na lamang laban kay Marcos.

Nagsimula ang recount noong April 2018, dalawang taon matapos maghain ng protesta ang natalong vice presidential candidate.
