MMDA: Metro Manila mayroong higit 300 traffic choke points
Hindi lang sa EDSA ang problema sa matinding trapik kundi sa buong Metro Manila ayon sa pag-aaral ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Ayon kay Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Danny Lim, lumabas sa pag-aaral ng JICA na mayroong mahigit 300 traffic choke points sa Metro Manila.
Sa pagdinig sa Senado, sinabi ni Lim na isa-isang tinututukan ang naturang choke points para magkaroon ng komprhensibong plano.
Ang pag-aaral anya ng JICA katuwang MMDA ay sinimulan noong Marso at inaasahang matatapos sa taong ito.
Pero sinabi rin ni Lim na kapag mayroong panukala para resolbahin ang trapik ay nagkakaroon naman ng problema.
“They have identified mga more than 300 choke points all over Metro Manila. Ang problem naman kasi every time we come up with a proposal, nagkakaroon ng problema,” ani Lim.
Binanggit ni Lim ang implementasyon ng ban sa provincial bus sa EDSA na pinatigil ng korte.
