Passive Income Financial Intermediaries Tax Bill o PIFITA lusot na sa Kamara

Pasado na sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng Kamara ang House Bill 304 o ang Passive Income Finanial Intermediaries Tax Bill o PIFITA.

Sa botong 186 YES, 6 NO at 2 ABSTAIN lumusot ang panukala.

Nakasaad sa ilalim ng PIFITA gagawing mas simple ang pagbubuwis para maging madali ang pagkulekta ng gobyerno ng buwis.

Isinama din sa panukala ang unified tax rate na 15 porsyento para sa interests, dividends at capital gains.

Kasama rin sa panukala ang pagtatanggal ng Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) sa diploma, transcript at iba pang records.

Ayon kay House Ways and Means Chair Joey Salceda, pangunahing may-akda ng panukala na makikinabag sa pag alis ng DST ang mga diploma para sa 1.2 milyong nagtatapos sa kolehiyo kaa taon, transcript of records ng may 2 milyong Senior High School Graduate kada taon at iba pang certification sa paaralan

Bukod pa dito, kasama rin ang Oath of Office ng 650,000 opisyal ng barangay, at iba pang elective officials, Good Moral Standing Certificate na hinihingi ng Philippine Regulations Commission, na kinukuha ng mga propesyunal kada tatlong taon, Affidavit of Loss t iba pang Certificates/Notarized Documents, Proxies, Certificate of No Marriage Record at Baptismal Certificate.

Sinabi ni Salceda na kikita ang gobyerno ng P4.2 bilyon sa panukalang FIPITA.
