Information campaign ng PCOO sa pederalismo tuloy pa rin
Iginiit ng Presidential Communications Operations Office na tuloy pa rin ang information campaign ng administrasyon para sa pederalismo.
Ito ay kahit na hayagan na ang pagtanggap ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na malabong maipasa ang pederalismo sa ilalim ng kanyang panunungkulan.
Ayon kay PCOO Assistant Secretary Marie Rafael, naglaan na ang Department of Interior and Local Government ng sampung milyong piso para sa information campaign.
Paliwanag ni Rafael, kaya hindi na kasama sa 2020 budget proposal ng PCOO ang pondo para sa pederalismo dahil kukunin na ito sa pondo ng DILG.
October 2018 nang lagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang Memorandum Circular No. 52 s. 2018 na lumilikha sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Federalism and Constitutional Reform.
Sa naturang task force, ang kalihim ng DILG ang tatayong chairperson kung saan sa kanila na rin manggagaling ang pondo.
