Hindi muna aarestuhin ng NBI ang ina ng bata na sinasabing nagbigay ng kanyang sanggol sa American national na dinakip sa NAIA

Ayon kay Atty. Manuel Dimaano mg NBI-IAID, hihintayin na lamang nila ang magiging desisyon ng piskalya sa kasong isinampa laban sa disi nuwebe anyos na si Maricris Dulap.

Partikular na kasong isinampa ng NBI laban sa ina ng sanggol na si Maricris Cempron Dulap at sa John Doe na biological father ng sanggol ay paglabag sa Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

Ang American national naman na si Jennifer Talbot ay sinampahan ng mga kasong paglabag sa Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act, Kidnapping, Serious Illegal Detention at paglabag sa Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse,Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

Una na ring kinumpirma ng NBI na nakausap na ng DSWD Davao ang ina na ng sanggol pero hindi kinuha ng DSWD ang kustodiya nito
