35 convicts sa heinous crimes sumuko na kasunod ng ultimatum ni Pangulong Duterte
Umabot na sa 35 convicts sa karumal-dumal na krimen at napalaya dahil sa Good Conduct Time Allowance law ang sumuko na sa mga otoridad.
Ito ay matapos kasunod ng ultimatum ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at babala na ituturing silang pugante kapag nabigong sumuko.
Ayon kay Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) spokesperson Sonny del Rosario, mismong sa BuCor sa Muntinlupa ay mayroong 9 na sumuko.
Pinakamarami namang sumuko ay sa lalawigan ng Cagayan na umabot na sa 20, mayroon ding sumuko sa Pasay, may tatlong sumuko sa Cebu, isa sa Laguna at isa sa Ifugao.
Sa datos ng BuCor at Department of Justice, 1,914 ang lahat ng nahatulan sa heinous crimes at napalaya ng dahil sa GCTA.
