5 drug suspects sumuko sa Lanao del Sur

Sumuko at nag-surrender ng kanilang mga armas ang limang katao na sangkot sa droga sa tropa ng militar sa Masiu, Lanao del Sur.

Ayon sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom), ang sumukong mga drug suspects ay sina Ambayan Macapanton, Binnor Macapanton, Jamail Pangandaman, Salma Palawan-Pangandaman at Haron Macabangkit.

Sumuko ang lima sa Alpha Company ng 49th Infantry Battalion.

Isinuko rin ng mga suspek ang isang improvised Rifle Grenade Launcher; isang 45 Colt 1911 pistol; isang caliber 45 Colt MKIV pistol, isang caliber 38 revolver; limang caliber 45 ammunitions at isang steel magazine para sa caliber 45 pistol.

“This recent success is attributed to our partners who actively participate in the whole-of-nation campaign of the government,” pahayag ni Brig. Gen. Romeo Brawner, Jr., commander ng 103rd Brigade.

Tiniyak naman ni Wesmincom commander Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana na tutulungan ang mga sumukong drug suspects sa kanilang pagbabagong-buhay.

“I commend the troops of the 103rd Brigade for their relentless support to the accomplishment of the command’s mission,” ani Sobejana.
