San Miguel Foods tiniyak na ligtas ang kanilang pork at meat products
Tiniyak ng San Miguel Foods na nananatiling ligtas ang mga pork at meat products nila sa kabila ng pangamba sa African Swine Fever.
Sa pahayag ng San Miguel Foods, ang kanilang produktong Purefoods Canned at Refrigerated Meats at Monterey Fresh Meats ay dumadaan sa iba’t ibang masusing proseso upang masiguro ang mataas na kalidad at food safety.
Sinabi ng kumpanya na ang kanilang mga baboy ay “grain-fed” kaya tiyak na ligtas ang mga ito.
Ang grain feeds na ipinapakain sa mga baboy ay gawa sa mga state-of-the-art feedmills ng B-Meg na nasa ilalim din ng San Miguel.
Ang mga hog farm naman at pasilidad ng kumpanya ay sumusunod rin sa striktong animal health at biosecurity protocols.
Maliban dito, bago pa man mai-distribute ang mga produkto ay may kaukulang permit na ang mga ito mula sa Bureau of Animal Industry at National Meat Inspection Service.
Sinabi ng San Miguel Foods na sa kabila ng mga protocols na ipinapatupad ng ilang Local Government Units (lgus), nananatiling ligtas at available ang mga Purefoods Canned at Refrigerated Meats at Monterey Fresh Meats sa mga pamilihan katulad ng supermarkets, grocery stores, Monterey meat shops, at Monterey community markets.
