Agad magrerekemenda ang Department of Justice (DOJ) ng ipapalit kay Nicanor Faeldon sa Bureau of Corrections.
Pansamantala ay magtatalaga muna ang DOJ ng magiging officer-in-charge sa BuCor upang hindi maapektuhan ang operasyon nito.
Ayon kay DOJ Undersecretary at Spokesperson Markk Perete, maaring mula sa kasalukuyang deputy director generals ang hihiranging OIC.
Tiniyak naman ni Perete na magiging maingat ang DOJ sa pagrekomenda ng magiging bagong BuCor chief.
Sesentro aniya ang kagawaran sa moral integrity ng posibleng papalit sa pwesto.
