Bukas ang Korte Suprema na tumanggap ng mga petisyon ukol sa Republic Act 10592 o Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA).
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin na pagdedesisyunan kung premature ito o hindi justifiable depende sa kung ano ang mga matatalakay na isyu sa nasabing batas.
Sakali mang lumabas na justifiable, sinabi ni Bersamin na tatanggapin ito ng Supreme Court.
Sa ilalim ng batas, maagang napalaya ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) ang kabuuang 22,049 na bilanggo kung saan 1,914 rito ang sangkot sa mga karumal-dumal na krimen.
