DA may scholarship para sa mga kabataan na gustong kumuha ng kurso kaugnay sa agrikultura

Papalakasin pa ng Department of Agriculture (DA) ang kanilang programang Agriculture Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF) at Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI).

Ayon kay DA Secretary William Dar, layunin nito na hikayatin ang mga mag aaral at mga nagtapos sa kolehiyo na makiisa sa DA management team at kumuha ng mga kurso kaugnay sa agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine, education at iba pang agricultural academic programs.

Ang ACEF ay magbibigay ng P73,000.00 para sa mga kwalipikadong estudyante sa ilalim ng Grant-in-Aid in Higher Education Program (GIAHEP).

Samantala ang DA-ATI ay nagbibigay ng scholarship assistance sa mga anak ng maliliit na mga magsasaka at mangingisda.

Maliban dito, nagbibigay din ang DA-ATI ng two-year scholarship program sa mga miyembro ng 4-H Club at magbibigay sa mga lalaking out-of-school youth ng bansa ng two-year hands-on training sa Japan sa tulong ng Japan Agricultural Exchange Council at Japan Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
