Porsyento ng dibidendo ng Land Bank of the Philippines at DBP binabaan
Binabaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang porsyento ng dividend o kita ng dalawang state run na bangko na iintrega sa pamahalaan.
Base sa Executive Order 89 na nilagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte, nire-require ng pamahalaan na mag-remit ng at least 50 percent ng annual net earnings sa national government ang Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) at Development Bank of the Philippines.
Inaatasan din ng EO na i-adjust ang annual net earnings na kinita Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) base sa rekomendasyon ng finance department.
Sa halip na magremit ng 50 percent magreremit na lamang ang Land Bank ng zero percent ng earnings noong 2016, 10 percent para sa taong 2017 habang ang DBP naman ay magre-remit ng zero percent na net earnings sa taong 2017.
Ang DBP ang nagbibigay ng banking service sa agricultural at industrial enterprises lalo na sa mga small at medium scale industries habang ang Land Bank naman ay nagbibigay ng financial and support services sa mga maliliit na magsasaka, micro, small at medium enterprises, country site financial institutions, local government at state agencies.
